Luke Vajsar with tired kid and mile mink


Bassist Luke Vajsar from Toronto has currently released thirteen albums mainly consisting solo bass music in the styles of funk, jazz and experimental lounge. He loops bass grooves in an atmospheric psychedelic style blend full of energy, colours as well as ambiance. His brother Andrew often joins him on stage with his hybrid drum and percussion set up and provides the beats. Luke's latest album release called “Hyenas” features Luke playing bass, guitars, trombone, vocals as well a percussion by Andrew. Luke is also a band member of Toronto’s drum n’ bass pioneers “Codex”. While he constantly performs mainly throughout the city of Toronto, he ventures internationally from time to time. Inspired by songs old and new, Thomas tries to create songs of an authentic nature by combining elements of country and alternative rock styles, with elements of the nineties. Drawing heavy inspiration from bands such as Neil Young, the Byrds, and the Rolling Stones, you might also find flavours of Grandaddy, Pavement, and John K Samson. Situated somewhere between 1969 and 1999 you’ll find Tired Kid feeling things out in his natural environment.


Mink Mile is an indie rock group from Toronto. Making its debut performing as part of the guinness world record’s longest concert in Stouffville in 2017, they have taken the Toronto indie rock scene by storm.
