Gen X

Toronto's hottest 90s rock cover band, Gen-X, is ready to fan the flames of your nostalgia with their high energy live show. Currently booking for 2017!
This four-piece band loves what they do, and it shows. The guitarist, bassist and drummer had been playing together for a few years when they decided to change things up in the summer of 2016 by recruiting a new singer.
Having a female vocalist means Gen-X can provide a wide range of songs by every kind of artist. One hit wonders you forgot you loved and big, timeless favourites make up a hard-hitting set list that will leave crowds dancing, singing along, and maybe even head banging for up to three hours of performance time. Set lists can be tailored to each event but are always performed to ear-pleasing perfection and can include everything from Kings of Leon and The Killers (yes, some early 2000s jams are peppered in) to Radiohead and Rage Against the Machine, which is always a major crowd pleaser.
With something for everyone, Gen-X will surely appeal to your existing patrons as well as draw in anyone who might hear their old favourite mix tape song as they’re passing by the venue. A good time is guaranteed for all who find themselves in the presence of this party band. Audiences have been thoroughly rocked at the historic Gladstone Hotel, Duffy’s Tavern, TO. Lounge, Libertarian House, and the band is excited to be making their festival debut this summer at the 4th annual Open Tuning Festival!
